Highlights from the Mexican Thoracic Society Congress Event

“Sunvou Presents Portable FeNO Solutions at Mexican Pulmonology Congress, Gaining Regional Interest”

The 83rd Mexican Congress of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery (83 Congreso de Neumología y Cirugía de Tórax), a major five-day international respiratory health event, recently concluded in Acapulco, Mexico.

Sunvou Medical participated in the event, presenting its DA/CA and TM/HA series portable FeNO analyzers. The products drew considerable interest from clinicians, healthcare professionals, and industry representatives. Throughout the event, the booth facilitated meaningful discussions and product demonstrations, resulting in the identification of several potential users and expressions of interest in future collaboration.

The Sunvou exhibit attracted visits from a wide range of stakeholders, including respiratory specialists, hospital procurement representatives, and regional distributors. Among them was Dr. Laura Gochicoa, recently elected incoming chair of the Mexican Respiratory Society and affiliated with the National Institute of Respiratory Diseases in Mexico. She visited the booth and engaged with the product team. Additionally, experts affiliated with the European Respiratory Society (ERS) acknowledged the devices’ performance in various clinical settings and noted their diagnostic precision.

The event clearly highlighted a strong and growing demand across Latin America for respiratory diagnostic technologies that are not only accurate but also accessible to a wide range of healthcare providers and patients. Many healthcare professionals expressed the need for reliable tools that can support early detection and effective monitoring of respiratory conditions. Going forward, Sunvou aims to play an active role in improving the management of chronic respiratory diseases throughout the region. The company plans to achieve this by strengthening collaborations with international medical partners, supporting clinical research initiatives, and consistently applying evidence-based medical approaches to deliver high-quality diagnostic solutions.
