On June 13, 2024, Professor Arzu Yorgancioglu—member of the first Global Steering Committee of the World Health Organization (WHO) Global Alliance for Chronic Respiratory Diseases (GARD), Chairman of the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA), and Chairman of the Promotion Committee of the European Respiratory Society (ERS)—met with Mr. Xu Jie, Deputy General Manager of Sunvou Medical, at her European office. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss developments in respiratory diagnostics and the potential role of innovative technologies in improving the management of chronic respiratory diseases.
During the discussion, Professor Yorgancioglu emphasized the innovative and groundbreaking nature of Sunvou Medical’s FeNO home self-test product. She pointed out that the product addresses a critical gap in biomarker-based self-testing for chronic respiratory diseases, offering a new approach that could significantly enhance patient engagement and disease monitoring. Professor Yorgancioglu compared the significance of this innovation with earlier breakthroughs in the management of other chronic conditions.
