Professor Arzu Yorgancioglu, a member of the first Global Steering Committee of the World Health Organization (WHO) Global Alliance for Chronic Respiratory Diseases (GARD) and Chairman of the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA), met with Mr. Xu Jie, Deputy General Manager of Sunvou Medical, in Europe in June. Their meeting reflected a shared interest in advancing global cooperation in the field of respiratory health and strengthening the development of innovative diagnostic technologies.

During her subsequent visit to China for an academic summit forum and a series of professional exchanges in Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, and other cities, Professor Yorgancioglu also arranged time to further connect with Sunvou Medical. On July 26, 2024, she visited the company’s headquarters in Wuxi, taking a full day to gain a deeper understanding of the organization’s research focus, development strategy, and long-term vision in the field of respiratory diagnostics.

During her visit to the Wuxi headquarters, Professor Yorgancioglu learned about the development history and vision planning of Sunvou Medical. She toured the company’s intelligent manufacturing workshop and its employee cultural activity center, where she observed the operational environment and the systems supporting product development and production. Throughout the visit, she expressed admiration for Sunvou’s strong R&D capabilities, its advanced intelligent manufacturing processes, and the dedication and enthusiasm demonstrated by its employees.

As part of the visit, Professor Yorgancioglu delivered a special speech to Sunvou’s product technology and clinical application R&D personnel. In her address, she highly commended the efforts of the research and development team and highlighted the growing importance of tackling chronic respiratory diseases. She emphasized that these conditions have become a major global health challenge in the post-pandemic era. She encouraged the team to continue their commitment to advancing the diagnosis and treatment of chronic respiratory diseases, thereby contributing to improved global health outcomes and supporting the continued progress of medical science.
